This intricately designed butterfly brooch is a Monet creation circa 1980. The large butterfly features lightly textured gold-tone wings with an open work design. The curved antennae grow from the detailed body of the butterfly. The brooch is marked ©Monet on the reverse. The butterfly measures approximately 1 7/8” x 1 5/8” and is in excellent vintage condition.
